車載應用: 模組化的CAN BUS 解決方案

Dc/dc converter has been used in many applications. Like Industrial, Railway, and Automotive. This time, we focus on Electric Vehicle application.

In electric vehicle applications, it uses CAN BUS to communicate with others among different systems. For example, the ECU gets the information from BMS through the CAN BUS, and controls the air condition from thermal system. Following we list three block diagrams for CAN BUS.

The first one uses discrete solution like transformers, IC, optical coupler and CAN transceiver. However, the large PCB layout space is the disadvantage.

The second one uses isolated converter module and isolated transceivers, The benefit of using converter module is to reduce the layout space, better EMS and increase thermal performance. Which is the most common method by far.

The third one uses integrate solution, which combines isolated transceiver and isolated power. This all in one solution can minimize the total layout space, with excellent EMS and thermal performance. And we can say it’s an easy-to-use solution!
